changing PSW outstanding to work permit

Post by Infonaz » Wed Jul 01, 2009 7:08 am

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if I will ask my employer to help me to get normal work permit, do you think I can withdraw my outstanding psw application (waiting since Nov08)

And what information employer has to provide and what responsobility on the employer and on me?

I will appreciate your advices on this.

Thank you.

No you cannot withdraw it unless your current visa is still valid. You should talk to an immigration specialist, there may be a way but I dont think so because you need to be on a valid visa, withdrawing it means that your current leave will expire.

u dont need to withdraw ur application for that. All you have to do is fill in the new form Tier 2, attach it with change of circumstances form(UKBA website), attach all the other documents required under Tier 2 (check UKBA website for details) and send it off. Try doing it through a solicitor because only a small mistake could be dangerous.

Cheers

This is assuming that the employer is a licensed sponsor and the job meet the criteria for a Tier 2 visa.
