I just would like to know other than self account or certifying by the employer can a relative/brother sponsor a tier 2 applicant towards the requirement for maintenence fund?

from wat i know no. it has to be yoiur pertsonal account or the arated sponsor.

relative/brother sponser's accnt are for visitors visa's while u visit them

For Tier2 Mainteannce funds.. you can show one of the below

1. Your account with sufficient funds as per guidance for MFunds, you shd be the account holder
2. Employer should certify that your maintenance would be taken care by them...
