Tier 1 (General) visa Age Calculation

Hello Experts,
i am going to apply Tier 1 (General) PBS in July end 2009 , by then i will be 31 years and 1 month old , i was going through the Points scoring
Attributes for Age which says as follows

Under 28 years 20 points
28 or 29 years 10 points
30 or 31 years 5 points
32 years and over 0 points

just wanted know if i am eligible to score 5 points for my age or i come under this band "32 years and over 0 points".
how ever i got a score of 75 points for my Qualification and previous earning.

please advise

If you have crossed 31 years, you will not get any points. U will get points only if your 31st Birthday is still away even for a week. But no points if you have completed your 31st B'day on the day of application also.

Thanks all ... Makes sense if i dont claim for it as i already have the exact 75 points for my eligibility

If this is the case, it is good. Anyway, there is no harm in claiming the points for Age, at max you will not be awarded any point. However, as mentioned by Adnan, if you should be awarded the points until you turn 32, you can always challenge this if you don't get any point.

If your total points are more than or equal to 75, then even if you don't get points for your Age, it will not affect your application.
