Wow, that's really quick. There are people who posted theirs last week of May and still waiting.

I just posted mine 1 week after you. Hopeful of getting my passport with ILR soon.

Good luck to us all!

Don't worry. It will arrive soon if it is straightforward.

I was like you before I received my passport because I need it for travel. I came to this board and had found some comfort with cases of others.

Good luck.

Finally!!!

Post by justice_will_reign » Fri Jul 17, 2009 2:34 pm

Finally the wait was over for me today as I received back my document and ILR in UK. This was a postal application:

Application type: ILR plus 1 dependent
Application sent: June 16th
Money debit from Account: June 17th
Acknowledgement letter date: June 17th
ILR Stamp: July 10th
Document received: June 17th

Doc sent:
1. Passport (2)
2. P60s (5 yrs) (myself + partner)
3. Payslips 2 months (April & May) (myself + partner)
4. Letter of employment (main applicant only)
5. 12 months bank statement (myself + Partner)
6. Mortgage statement
7. Marriage certificate

I can't explain why it took HO so long to send my document. I actually called them yesterday afternoon telling them I needed to know the stuatus of my application due to an urgent development in my country. The person I spoke with only told me (after so much pleading), that nothing in the post yet but if I don't receive anything by next week Wednesday, I should call them back. Then immediately, I know the application has been processed.

I received the backdated letter and promise of a refund (hopefully soon).

Andto all who are still waiting, please keep holding on and I am sure you will receive your own good news soon. I have benefited so much from this forumn and I will keep coming back here to help others as well. If you need to ask me any information, please do feel free to do so.

Thank you all.

Justice is reigning!

Got my ILR in less than 4 weeks

Post by groovy » Fri Jul 17, 2009 7:14 pm

I just received my stamped passport back from the HO.

Application for myself and 2 dependants submitted on 23 June
Acknowledgement received on 25 June dated 24 June
Fee taken from account on 25 June
Received passports back on 17 July

Documents sent

All current and old passports
P 60 for 3 years - didn't have for the first year/lost it
Payslips for 3.5 years - all of them
Savings account statement
Letter from employer
Marriage certificate
birth certificate

HO however failed to return my P60s so I need to write to them about it.
Received back dated letter for nationality application with names of me and dependants on it
Will be refunded fee as I had 3 HSMP applications

Hope this helps someone, the service is quite good. I had been tried to get an appointment for 2 weeks before I decided to post it and it came back in less than the 6 weeks I would have had to wait.
