Making PEO appt on behalf of someone else

Post by RAJ2007 » Wed Jul 15, 2009 1:51 pm

Is it possible to make PEO appt on behalf of someone else. I would like to make an appt for my wife for ILR (10yrs LR). Do the applicant need to be present (near the phone) while making the appt. Any thoughts? Any previous experience?

Yes you can make an appointment on her behalf as long as you have all her details.

Susi on UK resident forum booked for her husband.

It is vital that you call as soon as they open as there are very very few appointments for 10 year long residency. You may have to keep trying over a number of days. They will try to fob you off and get you to mail it. Don't do this unless you want to wait over 6 months and not be able to travel. This only applies to 10 year long residency category.

Dear RAJ2007
Yes, you can take telephonic appt for your wife as long as you have correct information of her such as name date of completion of 10yrs for long residency. Appts for 10 ILR are very limited, goesoff quickly. Start calling 2-3mts before opening time, preferably with a phone which has redialling button because getting through them for appt is difficult. PEO computer allows appt only up to six weeks from the date of calling not beyond. Therefore, calculate when your wife becomes eligible for application (28days before qualifying date of completing 10 years) and call accordingly.
Best of luck

One example of someone waiting:-

Another example:-

Is her application straightforward with no gaps between visas? If there are any gaps, even Home Office made gaps, other members have suggested getting an SAR report.
