I am planning for to apply for Tier 1 General and I am considering period for maintainence is from 07-Apr-09 to 07-July-09.

Please confirm if the period is fine for the 3 consecutive months.

Fine as long as you submit your application within 1 month of 7th July

Another query is which check box should I select if I take letter from bank...is it the option of

1) letter from a bank or building societ blah blah..


2) letter from a regulated financial institution confirming funds and covering a 3 month period...

My bank is Citibank..

Hi,

I am applying for Tier 1 extension for myself and a dependant.
I believe I need to show 800+ 533 balance?? Please correct me if I am wrong

I just checked my previous 3 months bank statement (4th April to 3rd July) and realised that the opening balance on 4th april was £1177, however after 14th April the balance never came down below £1800. Is this going to be problem as I think the balance cant be below minimum for any time between last 3 months???
Please advise.

Yes if you have been in UK for more than 12 months

Use 3 months from 14th April i.e to 13th July or beyond
