getting VISA stamping - in case of lost & replaced passp

Hi All,

One of my friend lost her Indian passport and she applied to get her new passport. Could any one explain what is the process to get that old VISA stamped in her new Passport how much does it cost.

1.Get a new passport from Indian Embassy.Needless to say Indian High Comission might ask you for Police report copy/receipt etc.
2. Contact home office stating the reason why you need a new stamp.
3. It will cost your around £140-£160 for stamping.
