Filling up the form

Post by vivek123 » Wed Sep 28, 2005 2:37 pm

Hi All,
Sorry for this naive question.
Just wanted to know some thing while filling up the application form.
1. Do you need to fill it up using the computer and then take a print out or you take a print out first and then fill it up?

2. What goes into the section "What type of work do you intend to do in the UK??"
Is it a sort sentence or a long and descriptive ?

3. What proof does one need to give that he speaks good English??

Thanks a lot, Debasish

1. You can do either.
2. Just mention the proffesion you intend to practise.
3. You could mention in a cover letter that your attained your degree in a University where the medium of instruction is english.

I find that filling in the form using the computer is very convenient.

I agree with Ashwin2005. fill up the form using your PC and then just print them all out.

On the proof for english proficiency, I suggest that you also include:
a. english proficiency test like IELTS or TOEFL
b. certification from uni that english language was the medium of instruction. :)

This would further improve your case.

cheers,

markie
