ILR- initial HSMP application between April-November 2006

Post by mahetus1 » Sun Jul 26, 2009 8:40 pm

I am not sure which date actually I applied for initial HSMP application(could be in march or april 2006)
got approval in end of May 2006.
According to rules I will have to wait for 5 years for ILR if initiall application between April-November 2006
How can I find out what was actual date that HO received my application?(apart from approval letter I don't have any other documents)

Any point in trying to apply at four years for ILR?

thanks ashok

You can apply for SAR (subject access request), to get a copy of your HSMP application. It would probably have a date stamp of when it was received.

But I think, if you got your HSMP in May, that you applied after 3 Apr 2006. They were processing HSMP applications within a week back then. Still worth getting a SAR (it only costs £10).

See this thread which covers how to go about applying for a SAR.
