Thanks nj for the info, I bet she didnt mind going to PEO today :D

One more thing i would like to ask, did she do seperate spreadsheet for absences from UK or she used the ILR set(0) form?

Can someone shed a light on Photos needed for Set (0) form? There is a photo guideline i know, but i thought it would just be standard passport size photo's that you need? or is it any different?

The only different size photo's i have ever seen are for US visa's apart from that they are all standard?

Dear Magsi
Regarding your question about seperate spread sheet for absences, my friend wrote on the SET(O) form on appropriate space provided and after completing the space provided in SET(O) form, she continued on a seperate sheet to complete the remaining list of absences ( she had about 20 short holiday trips in last 10 years). She did not duplicate again on a seperate spread sheet on the covering letter (I am sure about this, as she had asked me before completing the session !).
Regarding photo requirements, for last several years I use snappy snaps photo shop (It is a chain of shops in UK, find your local shop on google). Once you tell them you need colour photos for uk passport/visas, they exactly do as per standard guidelines. (I never had any problems with photos for visas/LTR so far for myself, 2 children, wife and Nanny).
Best wishes

My experience was that a straightforward application should succeed.

I have had a few applications which could not be processed on the date of application but were granted within 3 months from postal submisison.

Dear All
I have requested for SAR file, hopefuly I will receive it on time. IDI for long residency ILR states that we can apply 28 days prior to completion of qualifying period. However, when I spoke to two immigration solicitors, they adviced me to apply on completion of 10 years rather than 28 days before. I dont see any logic in their opinion, when IDI clearly says we can apply 28 days before. Any one has experience of applying 28 days before completion of 10 years, may please share their experience on this.
Many thanks

Thanks Minny and Magsi. I am reassured by hearing the experience of minny, applying 28 days before. I am all gearedup to apply for 1st Oct, for which I need to start phoning HO from mid August. I hope my SAR comes before that and in person application facility for 10 yr ILR still available by that date.
Once again many thanks.
