can i start a business in UK?

Post by max2009 » Thu Aug 06, 2009 1:36 am

Well what i mean is that, i have been in UK for around five years and have discretionary leave to remain but was expired a year and applied for an extension.

So i don't think i receive any reply any soon, so it could take up to a year or less or more. Right now im entitled to housing benefits and all that, only that i can not travel to any county for now. But what i was considering is that, can i start a small business such form private limited company?

I know i can legally work in UK, but as you can see my current status, can i form a private limited company?

Did your discretionary leave expire whilst your application was with the Home Office? If it did you are covered by section 3(c) of the 1971 Immigration Act and you leave is "treated as continuing".

If you made your application after your leave ran out, if you work you will be working without permission unless you have been given some other permission to work.

open a road side shop like pan store or pan beda or dosa shop. But make sure it is for free otherwise it would be public funds. free service babay
