Tier 1 Dependant Visa

Hi,

Can I apply for my wife as a tourist VISA for UK when I already have Tier 1 general VISA.

Then can we go together to UK. After reaching there can I apply for my wife's Tier 1 dependant visa from UK itself.

Here is my view......

You can apply for Tier 1 visa for your wife but you cannot convert visitor visa to tier 1 dependant......

I think you are actually considering the issue of maintainance fund from outside UK. but i am afraid you can not do that
