Hi Guys,

Here is my Timeline for HSMP to tier 1 extension

Document Sent: 29th July 09
HO Ref Letter : Recieved on 2nd July 09 dated 30th June 09
Feed Deducted: 2nd July 09
Visa Stamped: 16th July
Documents Recieved: 21st July 09
Visa Granted : 3yrs. from the date of my HSMP Visa expiry not from the date I arrived in UK

Home to Home time line : 22 Days

Hi,

I've sent my application today through Roual Mail recorded delivery. I used the postal address.

Later I realized recorded delivery requires signature. Whether I'm alright (or) should have sent the application thrugh normal post.

Has anyone applied through recorded deliver without an problems?

It would be fine. HO is having it's own dedicated PO box. All deliveries go to that PO box. So your special delivery would be fine especially since you can track it. It is better option to send it by Special Delivery along with the self-addressed return special delivery envelope.

Yes it's fine. You can anyway able to track it online. Sometimes recorded deliveries are delayed so do not worry if that is case with you.

Hi,
I received my doucments today 5th AUG 09 and I've got visa for 3 years and 5 months,
Initially my visa was expiring in Nov 09' but I've applied in Aug ,
So it's approved till Nov12.
Application Posted on 14th July
Application Received on 15th July
Confirmation Letter Received on 17th July

Exactly three week processing, I've learned so many things from this Forum,

I just mailed mine special delivery today.
I am applying for tier 1 - post-study work permit.
I am on my entry clearance (student visa) which expires end of Nov 09.

I had a look on this board and was wondering what is the earliest I could get a response from them ( my docs back)?

Also I've had a balance of over 800 from May 7th and the original bank statements I sent ran til Aug 06, that classifies as 3 months or will I be in trouble? I couldnt get another original statement til mid of Aug and I had to post my app today, but I went to the bank and they printed out statements for me from May 7 til Aug 11 and certified, signed n sealed them. Then I attached them to the statements I received in the mail, will that do?

Your bankstatements for Maintenance from 7th may to 6th Aug may just do the needful barring u have funds above required level all day in day out..
