Shall we stay or Shall we go

Post by global gypsy » Sat Aug 15, 2009 11:39 am

Interesting study: Shall we stay or Shall we go
"A new report says that an increasing number of migrants are leaving the United Kingdom after staying for only a short period of time. The report also found that those who are most likely to leave are the ones Britain needs the most: highly skilled immigrants."

Depends on one's personal circumstances and individual opinion about outlook re economy, family, culture and competing offerings. The world is a Global Village now and its stupid to put restrictions on the most precious resources - capital, skilled manpower etc.

At times shortsighted policy driven by political expediency may seem to overlook/ignore the logic.
