First of all i am thankful to forum for providing useful guidelines.

Applied for HSMP

7/7/05

Approved

2/8/05

Applied for EC

22/8/05

Got interview call

26/9/05

Interview

10/10/05

Got back my pssport with HSMP VISA

Pls share some more info about ur success story?

what is ur job/ expertise?

how many points did u score?

What kind of refernence letters did u use? Can u share the format or a sample?

what papers did u submit for EC?

what did they ask in the interview?

What did u do for job search?

Your input would be very helpful for many, esp people like me who intend to apply from Pakistan.

I am Conservationist by proffesion

how many points did u score?

I dnt know how much i had scored, I claimed

Education: 15 (Masters degree from Paksitan)
Experience: 50 (10 yrs experience including 6 years senior position, heading one of the department in a International Orgnanistion based in Pakistan)

Significant Achievments : 15
Research/Publications +articals in New papers + interview in UK news paper

Letters are very simple include: job title + starting and end date + detailed job description of the position

what papers did u submit for EC?

Orginal HSMP approval letter
Bank statement with proof of money in the bank
Job search emails
Accomodation search emails
All other documents, which were submitted to home office for hsmp approval

what did they ask in the interview?

Proof of money in Bank

Where to go?

Name of the HR person of my office

Current job

What did u do for job search?

Search using internet www.jobserve.com

hello every body!

i am taimoor from pakistan, just planning to apply for HSMP. I am an ACMA with equivallence of HEC equal to master degree. i doubt how much points i can score in this category?

please some body guide me on this issue.
