Quick query regarding ILR

Hey guys,

My wife is on a 2 year spouse visa, she has been in the country for 6 months now. I know she has long way to go before she can apply for ILR.

My question is, what type of documents is needed for ILR application i.e. is job payslips required? Just that I have decided to work part time and study full-time degree conversation (2years). My part time job should give me around £750 a month, as for accommodation that isn’t a problem and will be rent free.

Will this change cause me problems when applying for spouse ILR? Is there anything else that I should be worried about i.e. potential new rule coming to effect, thanks.

This is the form that your wife will need to complete to apply for her ILR. It lists the documents that you will require on the back of the form. Good idea to start collecting them now
