URGENT | Applied tier 1 but stamped tier2

I applied tier 1 but when i got my passport today it says tier2.

Have anyone faced this mistake ?

Do i need to submit all documents again ?

I think, once you contact them, they will let you know process. But, I don't think this will require to resend documents.

No. It is just a matter of incorrect stamp. This should be correct by BHC free of cost.

They returned me back all documents, statements, etc ... . Is that normal ?

HO always keep a copy of ur docs.. incase required for Admin Review/appeal.. it is normal.. dont worry.. this is their mistake and once you bring it to their notice they shd ask for your passports and shd do it for free.. just contact them..

I remeber someone I know got an ILR (Indifinite) when he applied to extend his student visa.

HOwever, being cheeky he then applied for citizenship a year later but was refused as it was the sticker which said ILR AND not their system.

So I am pretty sure in your case that the info in their records is correct and the only problem is the wording on the sticker. COntact the casewroker in writing clearly marking it as " EXTREMELY URGENT" and you should be able to get it sorted out.

No new application needed.
