Urgent -Different stationery issued by same bank

Post by Nona » Thu Aug 20, 2009 6:44 am

Previous Earnings Evidence - 12 months bank statements.
Maintenance Funds Evidence - Letter from Bank (Fixed Deposit has no statements)

Both the above statements are from the same bank. The official bank stationery is in different formats for the above - appearance, page setting, colour scheme etc

> Is it sufficient to obtain a letter from HSBC about the difference in format?
> Are different formats for 2 sets likely to create any problems?
> What could be the objection raised leading to rejection?
> If Bank refuses to provide such a letter, what do you think are my chances if I proceed with what I have?
> Any other solution?

Appreciate your help

Formal statements are usually on a different stationery than the normal letters. I wouldn't worry about it. Although it is a bit stange that the colour schemes are different as Banks/companies usually have a standard for colours, logos etc.

Diff stationery issued by same bank

Post by Nona » Fri Aug 21, 2009 5:27 pm

Thanks!
I have the electronic statements stamped, signed and accompanied by the authenticity letter from the bank. Only later did I read about how electronic bank statements are relevant for only "online accounts". Hence applied for a fresh set - this time from the bank.

Btw, the bank statements that the bank freshly printed for me in a new scheme has the title "Duplicate Statement of Account". Would that be an issue?

Keeping my fingers crossed. I'm applying next week.

Urgent - Diff stationery issued by same bank

Well, a new can of worms exploded in my head! I guess this is a common enough phenomenon in the forum  :)

(1) Does official bank stationery mean "letter head" alone?
(2) Bank (HSBC) says that though they have sent it on diff stationery, that is the "official" stationery for "monthly statements".
(3) Are there any other applicants in this forum who have got the bank statements printed by HSBC on grey colour print outs? (Their official colour is Red & White)
(4) Are attested (stamped and sealed) electronic bank statements valid for the new rules effective 31st mar 09?

Cheers!
