Hi All
I got my ILR today at PEO Croydon and wanted to share the experience with you guys.
My appointment was at 10:00 and i got there for 8:50 am, was told to wait and was let in by 9:00 am.
After going through Airport style security, had to wait in the queue for about 15 mins, after that went to the counter, gentleman was pleasant he did some checks asked for KOL certificate and stamped my application as valid.
He asked me if i had been out of the country for more than 3 months at any one time, i told him No also told him category i am applying under has 6 month rule and not 3 months he wasn't aware of that.
After that had to join another queue for payment, another 20 mins wait and paid £1020 by credit card, there were 2 queues for payment 1 for agents/representatives and one for individual applications.
After that was told to go to 2nd floor and wait for my number to be called, waited around an hour approx 11 am was called in by case worker very nice lady, i asked her exactly what documents did you want, she said Just application, KOL and passport, handed the documents to her and she said i would need to go away and she would call me again in about an hour, got called again and she said to wait another 20 mins.
Got called again and she told me i was granted ILR and can collect my passport in 1 hour i was surprised as she did not ask me a single question, went outside for fresh air came back in half hour and my passport was ready with ILR stamp.
I carried bag full of docs including payslips, p60's, employer letter, SAR file but wasn't asked for anything.
Would be happy to assist if any questions from anyone.
