Is Fax Letter from NARIC is acceptable by BA?

Post by Noor » Wed Aug 26, 2009 1:44 pm

Hi Experts,

I have applied for NARIC certificate of comparability last month, they have sent the letter on 20th of this month and I did not receive the certificate till now.

I have called them several times, but they say that they have already posted. However, they told me that they will resend the letter.

But, it will again take 3-4 days to reach. As an alternative, they told that they will send a fax of the letter.

Do the Border Agency accept the Certificate of Comparability in the form of Fax?

I want to send my application by tomorrow, please help

Thanks,
Noor

Documents should be original. Fax will not be accepted.

Thanks Chethan,

I had one concern. If I receive my letter this weekend, then I can apply on 1st or 2nd of September.
I was claiming points for Earnings from 01-Aug-2008 till 31-Jul-2009.

Now, if I submit my application on 1st or 2nd , then again do I need to change all the details,

1. to include the month of August
2. New bank statements
3. New payslips

That’s why I was thinking of Fax, but as you said, I cannot go with Fax.

But, does we have any other alternative, to stick with the specified earning period, because it would be really tough to get attestation on the August payslip, bank statements and all.

No. Because you can claim any 12 consecutive mobths from last 15 months.

Correct, but insure that for Maintenance Funds, you have a bank statement not older than 1 month. Thus, if you post the application on 1st Sep, then you should be ok with the most recent bank statement that covers the period till 31 July. Considering this is borderline, can you arrange an interim bank statement that covers till 10-15 Aug perhaps? Please not that this is not required as per the guidelines but I tend to play safe.
