HiPG from NHS Eligibility

Post by Kaff » Fri Aug 28, 2009 12:11 pm

Guys

I am already claiming for child benefits based on fact that my country and UK has security arrangements.

Now my wife is pregnent, and I am wondering either she is eelegible for HiPG from NHS? she is on differant passport and under immigration control.

Problem is that HiPG can only be issued under my wife name.. so it means she is claiming public funds.

Will this effect her extension?

Thanks in advance

Health in Pregnancy grant, is on the list of forbidden public fund for people in the UK who have yet to acquire a settlement status.

It has the potential of affecting her extension application.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
Yes, it sounds like not good idea to take HiPG.
