**** Tier 1 Dependent form query as sugg EXPERT OPINION Plz

Post by Tier1Dep » Tue Sep 01, 2009 12:23 am

Hi

I am applying for Tier 1 Dependent visa for my partner.
My partner had applied for Tier 1 visa(independently) and was returned as INVALID (not rejected) as one of the mandatory field was not filled. The application fee was also refunded.

While completing the application, I am a confused for the following question in the application

6.2 Have you ever been refused a visa for any country including UK?
YES NO
If yes
Ans: Date Country Reason Reference number

Since my partner was not refused (returned as invalid) should I tick NO.

Please advise

Thank you

Yes, you can tick it as NO.. but i would advice you to put that INVALID story in the cover letter with ref no.. to be on safer side..

Wait for more comments from experienced ppl in this situation..

The reason being i thoroughly checked the form for this particular question when applying but couldnt find it! I have once been refused a visa for a different country

Please reply ASAP!>. thanks.

Thank you for your advise.

I am filling for Tier 1 dependence visa thro VAF 10 form because it is should be processed from home country.

So the question is in VAF 10 and not in Tier 1 application.
