Is originals returned?

Post by palan-raj » Thu Sep 03, 2009 8:58 am

If I am submitting the following documents in original and one set of photocopy,

Passport and old passport
education, marriage, birth certificates.
pay-slips
savings bank passbook
driving license

whether all these documents will be returned to us after processing tier-1.
Or which documents alone, returned.

Yes Originals are returned to you..

you dont need to send a photocopy as HO takes a copy of ur docs incase if the case goes for appeal..

never send docs which are not asked for... incase the caseworker just see ur's photocopy docs and can reject saying the educational or payslips etc. not being original..

dont welcome trouble.. i think pushsmp agrees with me on this..

I agree with almost everything you say. I usually do not reply to most of the posts which you have already replied to as I think that you have pretty much covered everything. Only where I hold an opinion contrary to yours, do I write a message- which might give an impression that I am not in agreement with you. There is a sample bias in that hypothesis, you see.

In any case its immaterial whether I agree with you or not. I am not an immigration expert.
regards,
push
