I saw in the passport application guidelines somewhere that you need to send your current passport thats why I just sent one and in the form I mentioned about only one passport.RAJ2007 wrote:old-hsmp,
I have seen in the form (2nd page) that it ask 'how many passports you have got (including cancelled ones)'. Now, my son has two passport (old & new). If I mention two there, do I need to send both passports?
Also, do they send back those documents seperately(not with the new British passport?
Also, do I need to send my passport which has got ILR stamp on it?(since his passport has n't got ILR stamp on it)?
Yes, the supporting documents are returned in a separate post. There is an option on the passport application form about returning the documents by secure delivery. If you have ticked that box and applying through post office check & send, they will charge you extra for each application for returning the documents. I had three applications and paid extra £3 for each.
As you have his registration certificate, I think you don't need to send your passport.
