Holiday maker visa

Post by sohail akhter » Wed Oct 26, 2005 9:21 am

The British high commission is not taking applications for commonwealth holiday maker visa in Pakistan. But this type of visa is open for all Pakitani nationals in other countries provided they are resident there. If a person has to apply while living in Pakistan for holidaymaker visa, how can he apply? Where should he lodge his application?

Thanking all of you.

isn't the answer contained in your question ?

As long as you are resident in Pakistan and not another country you can't apply for this. If people could there would hardly be any point in the policy that has stopped issuing these in Pakistan would it ?

Am I missing something ?

It would be difficult if not impossible for a Pakistani national resident in Pakistan aged between 17 and 30yrs to satisfy the rules of the WHV. Thst is why it was removed.

WHV tend to be for applicants from the 'old commonwealth countries' i.e Oz, Kiwi, Canada and SA.

I dont tjhink BHC - Pakistan entertains visitors visas for under 30s as well because the system has been abused many a time
Where there is a will there is a way.
