Wrong gender on visa

Post by tulipz » Fri Sep 04, 2009 9:12 am

Hi All,
I recieved mine and my daughter's passport today with dependent visa stamped. However, my daughter's gender was wrongly mentioned as 'M' on the visa. Please let me know how to get this corrected.

Thanks,
Tulipz

Ps: I checked the photocopy of my application. I mentioned everything correctly there.

Contact HO and ask them about procedure.

I wrote to BHC and they asked me to submit the passport at VFS with a cover letter.

Submitted at VFS Hyderbad this morning. They said the correction will take 7 working days.
