Extending a Visa

Post by BookWorm » Tue Sep 08, 2009 2:22 pm

Hello,

I just finished my foundation course on 26th august 2009 in inner London, and am about to start University also in inner London on 23rd September 2009.I am about to pay 50% first installment of fees to the University. How much do I need to show in my bank account for my visa to be successfully renewed? I have to extend before end of November.

I heard that if the visa letter from the university shows that I have paid 50% and have arrangements to pay off the other 50%, all I need to show in your statement is 2,400 pounds. Is this true?

How many months' worth of statement should I show and for how long must the money be in before application?

Thank You Very Much

Hi

Very simple.

£1600(2@£800) plus I year fee(If course is more then nine months) Or
£1600(2@£800) plus complete fee(If course is less then nine months)

By the way what is length of your new course and what is total fee. Also what is per year fee.

Hello,
My Course is 33 months (Undergraduate) and costs 11,500 per year.

What I'm asking is if i can show just 1,600 after having paid 50% of my first year fees.

Thank You

No

You need to show £1600 plus 50% remaining fee of first year.

Otherwise you would be refused.Simple is that
