Stupid question!

Post by kobrien » Wed Sep 09, 2009 9:35 pm

When going through passport control which line do I go in?

1) When I dont have any residency card but am accompanied by my husband?

2) When I have a residency card?

So confused... :(

If you have the family type residence card, you can accompany your EU spouse along the EU passport control.

If not accompanying, I think you have to go through the normal passport check.

My recent experience....

Coming back from US and I joined the normal non-eu passport queue and was told at the end that I should have used the "Returning Resident" line. Luckily I did not wait for too long though...my first question was, "Are you coming for conference in London??!!!" I was like, what?"£"!$%R"£$! No, I am going home

By the way, I have a Residence card on my non-EU passport.
