Starting own umbrella company/ Consultancy before job

Hi, Currently i am in UK with HSMP and eagerly waiting to do start contractual job. Can i start umbrella company now itself for my billing purpose later on ? plz guide.

If yes, when does it start?

Going through an umbrella company is not straightforward as it may sound, will you be employed by the company or will you instead be an independent contractor?

Have you obtained a National Insurance No?

Have you worked in the UK before, either as self employed or as an employee?

As regards registering with an umbrella company, there is nothing to prevent you doing this before commencement of your contract.
