Exact dates for bank statment

Hi,

I am just confused about bank statement for maintenance funds. Should its be from 1st to 30/31st of each month or it can any from any date to any date like 12/06/2009 to 12/09/2009? Somebody told me that home office is very strict about that.

Do we need 3 different statements for each months or it can be 1 statement covering all three months like 12/06/2009 to 12/09/2009?

Would you please give the HO reference of somebody who told you, I mean how did he get this information from HO? I think there would be no problem with any dates, just it should be consecutive three months (12/06/2009 to 11/09/2009), and the information should be no more older than one month from the date of application.

As long as it covers three months there is no problem. Very few banks actually issue statements on the first or last day of each month, so it is no problem if the statements are dated on the 12th of each month.

And it is perfectly acceptable to have the same statement covering 3 months, rather than three statements covering a month each.

There is no problem at all. In fact even if you mentioned that your statement covered the last three months and actually it covered 3 months and 12 days there is no problem.
