Anyone who's applied for a PSW visa on august 10 or after???

Has anyone applied for a Post Study Work visa on or after the 10th of august and has got their passport back already???

Is there any way I can contact them to find out more about the status of my application PSW??

I tried phoning one of their numbers but I was told that they couldnt give me updates until after 12 weeks have passed....

Please advise, thanks.

Where did you applied from?
From U.K or Application made Outside U.K (Provide the Country name) ...

Hi I applied on the 10th August and received my passport on the 5th September. I guess there is no way to find out about the status of your application until 14weeks have passed <from the date of application>. My advice is try not to panic <; review what you sent in your mind but calm down >and pray. I hope it comes out positive and soon too.

its alright now, i applied on august 11th, they received it on the 12th and i received my psw with passport bk on the 9th of sept.

Hi, I have applied on 13/08/09 and I got the HO letter after a weeks time dated 13/08/09. But haven't received the passport back. I am waiting desperately. I called HO after 15 days of application but they said I have to call them after 14 weeks is over. Any advice please!!!!

did you get it eventually? its weird cos you should but there is nothing much you can do but wait. they will not advice you on the status until 14 weeks are over. best of luck

No I havent got it. But When I rang HO, they said, call us once 6wks is over. We might have some info abt ur status.

did you apply from within the UK??

was it for a post-study work visa? are you sure you submitted all the required documents?

Yes, I very much applied from withinUK. I had sent Uni. Letter, Transcript, M. Funds and ICFN card. I didn't had the Degree cert. as the Uni was going to give within 5-6 months time and my visa is expiring on 30th of Sept. I confirmed with the Uni. if I would sent Uni letter will that help and they said yes as I didn'e had degree certficate for PSW visa.

What do you think?? I am really worried as it is alomost 6 wks and I even called HO y'day and they said call after once 14wks is over.

I don't know what to do. Please help!!!!!
