Why dont they call up for interview for tier 4 visa?

Tell me something why dont they call applicants for personal interview nowadays like they used to do?

Too few staff to deal with all the applications?

I personally think that a short interview is best, as its the best way for the immigration officer to judge if its a sham education visa and also to judge the English language level.

But having said that, both can be judged through the English Language test, as well as verifying that the education institution is real, which is what they are doing at the moment.

There were lot of problems in interviews and mostly people were not happy with interview.

In Islamabad more then 90 % were refused in interviews with baseless reasons.
