psw rejected under 320(7a) can anyone help?

hi all,

I finished msc from oxford brookes uni and applied to psw from uk in december 2008, got rejected in feb 2009 bcos i did not receive original certificate from uni and lack of funds.

came to india after maintaining 3 months statement, i applied for psw got rejected bcos i forgot to mention the rejection in feb 2009 in the application form. Can anyone help?

You should have read the UKBA website carefully before applying!
Anyways, the only option i can see now is, if you have right of appeal, go for it through a good solicitor and or apply for another visa category.
Never ever hide your refusal in any visa application in future for your entire life!

You are entitle to an administrative review within 28 days of the decision, but you need to find a legitimate reason as why you didn't mention previous rejections in your application. Some how you need to convince the reviewers to overturn their decision or at least not to get banned from entering the UK for 10 years.

1. In this case it will be seen as deception and carries a 10 year ban.
2. Hav u been given an administrative review or not.

hi ash786, yes its 10 year ban and they gave me the oppurtunity of admin review.

1. In that case write a very effective letter and fully acknowledge u mistake and explain that it was not u intention to hide the information and explain that u have realised u mistake which was not to hold information. The letter has to reflect that it was not u intention.

2. It wud be a 50:50 chances so depends on the caseworker.

hi guys, good news is dat i got visa. a big thankyou for all of u guys. keep trying till u succed. i was banned for 10 years under 320(7a) & (7b) bcos i forgot to mention my previous rejection in the application form. but i got the visa now.
