Home office access to NI number

Hi all

Does anyone know if the homeoffice have access to NI number.Can they know number of hours worked?

Yes,they can access your NI records.They can easily estimate if you are working more the number of hours you are allowed from your earnings.If they want to verify, they will normally ask for your payslips,bank statement showing where your wages go and contract of employment.

i think they have all your details....anyhow it depends on your luck..

please dont think about extra work.. there has been some incidents that some students ,who work more than 20 hours per week,has been caught by uk government... so please be aware of it...

Who told you this bull sits.

They have no online access to N.I records yet but if they doubt they can write to your employer or Tax department for confirmation.

They have no online access yet.

May be in future they have.

they r updating systen now but previously they did not hsve sny thing 4 online confirmation
