HSMP - self emplyment

Post by vikramvvs » Thu Sep 17, 2009 7:50 pm

Hi

I have applied for HSMP in 01 Aug 2009 but application was rejected because one of my payment didn't talley with the payslip. But after rejection I did get the proof from my bank supporting to the entry.

So from Aug 08 till July 2009 my earning are £26.3K (salaried employment )

and I got £3000.00 by designing one website in JULY 2009. I have registered with HMRC in 10th Sep 09. I banked the cheque on 11th Sep 09. But I got the cheque on 18th July 2009.

After getting the UTR number (probably I will get by end of Sep 09), If i get a letter from accountant that I have earned £3000.00 in July, will the home office consider those earnings are July earnings or September earnings??

Please help me regard to this

Thank you in advance

do you mean the amount on payslip didn't match the amout on bank statements or is it just a date issue. A salary slip date does not have to be same as the date the money goes in the bank account.

Seniors will defo advise on that.
