Cover Letter - Tier 1 - Need Help

Post by gauravw » Sun Sep 20, 2009 10:01 am

Hi,

I am currently on HSMP visa and now i am switching to Tier 1.

I am also applying the dependant visa for my wife and son.

Do i need to include a seperate cover letter for each dependant? or 1 main cover letter including dependant details is suffecient? Is one has the format for this type of cover letter?

Regards,
Gaurav

A single consolidated cover letter is fine

Use the normal cover letters available on the sticky. Add a paragraph re who your dependants are and that they are applying along with you. Mentions the documents enclosed like marriage certificate, birth certificate and maintenance funds

Whats the success rate for current HSMP holders extending under Tier 1 if they have the relevant points and have kept the relevant documentation. Also,is it better to keep the documents in a folder or is it better to put each section in poly pockets and put them in the envelope.Any suggestions welcome.sorry for sounding so dumb but we are due for our PR in March 2010 God willing so worried if they would find soem excuse to refuse.

100% (barring some mistakes by the caseworkers). Just bunch together related documents like pay-slips; Bank Statements etc. No need for poly packs etc..
