No, you don't need to submit your driving license. A passport is good enough for verification of age if required.

No. You don;t need to submit it for age points.

Thay used to ask for the Birth Crttificate or DL or notorised copy of passport in the old HSMP scheme which was two process. In the new T1 you have to submit your passport with the application which is enough for the age points...

As the guidance says.. submit proper evidences for all the points you claim.. since u r not claiming points for age.. u dont need to worry abt it..

but when u claim points for age.. passport copy is enough..

What copy... where are they gonna put the vignette in? They need the original passport - regardless of claiming points for age or not!

(1) No you do not have to submit your driving license.
(2) As other members have explained, you need to submit your passport whether or not you are claiming points for Age because the VISA can be stamped on Passport only.
