HSMP Extn: Do I need to be in job at time of application?

Dear forum members,

A basic query. I would be applying for HSMP extension in near future. Although I am having all the sufficient points for extn but currently I am out of employment.

Could it be an issue for me?

As per the guidence notes "An applicant does not have to be in continuous or full-time employment during the 12 months being assessed."

As long as you obtain the required points from PBS calculator, there would be no problem. You would be eligible.
