Re: HSMP visa extension - any consecutive 12 month period

Post by mailgopal80 » Tue Sep 22, 2009 10:47 pm

Thanks Alladin much appreicated.

I had look into the entire application I have got doubts regarding some section

Within Page16

C. Passport or travel documents and Identity Card for Foreign Nationals.

C6. They are asking for current passport or travel document which is fine.

C9. They are asking for applicant Identify card for Foreign Natinals. I currently do not have any Identify card as such Do let me no whether I need to ignore that session (i.e) from C9 to C12.

I currently hold Indian passport.

Thanks and Regards,
Gopal

Extension form assistance

Post by WalkOn » Wed Sep 23, 2009 5:41 pm

Hi all,

I'm in the process of completing and submitting my extension application (HSMP -> Tier 1 (Gen)).

However, I'm rather confused with some of the questions.

D11. What is the applicant's current immigration status in the United Kingdom? - I'm assuming this is 'Limited leave to remain'. Is this correct?

T5. Previous Earnings. - How is the table to be completed? I'm confused with the division in the 'Earnings in pounds sterling' column. Should the amount be entered at the top or bottom of the 'division'?

Further to this, I'm sending my current valid passport as well as a renewed passport. The reason is that my current passport has only one page empty. Should I mention this in the cover letter and (should my application be successful) ask that the case worker affix the renewed visa in the new passport? Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.

I don't think it should be a problem, since you are allowed to stay in the UK while your application is being processed. Please verify with others too.

thanks,

Did you apply after your initial visa expired? I'm surprised that they even considered your application in such a case.

Dear Members,

Need some urgent help.

I applied for Tier 1 extension on 21st of September 2009 and visa fees payment did not go through because bank thought that it was a fraudulent transaction and did not authorise it(I gave my debit card details in the application).

I received a letter of acknowledgement on 23rd and got back all my documents on 1st of october 2009 with a letter dated 29th september asking me to make a fresh application.
Issue is my visa expired on 25th of september. So, don't know if my application will be successfully or not and NOT SURE if i have to if fill the D5 part of section2 which asks "IF my leave it remain is unavailable" and the questions after that are very scary.

very urgent any kind of suggestions or success stories will boast my moral.

Thanks in Advance

HSMP to Tier 1 extension
Applied From: United Kingdom
Application Filed: 7 Sept 2009
Application Received at Visa Office: 8 Sept 2009
Points Claimed: 110
Fee Debited: 9 Sept 2009
Reference Number Received: 10 Sept2009
Application Status: approved
Approval date: 30sept 2009
Paperwork Received: Oct 2 2009

I applied 4-5 months in advance without giving any reason for extension and it was fine.

So guys dont wait till the end date and apply 3-4 months in advance to be safe.

Hi,

I have had asked some of the questions earlier, but could not arrive at a conclusion.

My HSMP visa expires on March 2010, and we have got a new baby born last month. We are planning a trip to India in Dec. So we would like to apply for early extension (HSMP-Tier1 migration) and visa for my baby

1) Will be there any delay due to early extension or applying 3 applications together (myself and 2 dependents (my wife and my baby))? We have booked our tickets for Dec1st. So I am little worried whether we would be able to receive our passports back by that date (in case if we apply next week).

2) What is the form to be used for visa for my baby. Would it be the Tier1 dependent application form or FLR(O)?

3) Whether the fees for my baby's visa application would be as 50 or 465? I had sent a mail to homeoffice, but did not get any response on this.

4) I had sponsored visitor visa for my mother couple of months back and she is currently staying with us. I had quoted that I will take care of her expenses during her stay here. Would it affect the maintenance funds requirement by any chance? Do I need to show more funds than the normal (850+533+533)?

I had shown 3000 pounds as funds for her visa. I am going to show the same as maintenance fund now. Would this be okay?

Many thanks in advance for your replies.

Regards,
Ravi.

I applied with my batchelors and got extension approved.
No need to prove your english skills as you have already proved it .

Read the guide thoroughly to get most of your questions answered.

Ans: Dont bother too much. I wrote earnings from the first employer in the first row & Second employer in row 2. And entered the total in the 3rd row. Just common sense should be good enough.
