Yes, they will provide the same reference number but you will notice that the last 3 characters is represented as "/02". This would mean this is 2nd application.

don't panic. I too have a "/02" as my first appli was not comprehensive enough to merit an approval. :D

But Mikie
They have not added anything to my previous reference number means there in nothing like /02 or anything else it is only 225**. which was my previous case id.
This is why i was confused. I have not attached any previous refusal leter with it.

the HSMP will use your previous reference number for your application and they will act on the new application appropriately and would not dwell on the previous one.

Always look at the bright side - think positive.

Cheers!

I recieve a email that my case is being assigned to case worker on on 12th of October. I have asked them to give me email confirmation as they reached soem decision nothing yet from side. Any idea how much time on average a case workers takes to decide a case. Moreover do they work on satyrdays or is it off. My CC was charged on saturday however.
Any other cotober applicant.

Sent 7 Oct
Arrived Doncaster 11 Oct
CC charged / Ack email sent 11 Oct

Haven't heard anything else and don't expect to for another couple of weeks, until they let me know to send the courier to pick up my docs.

It's torture, but to re-purpose the old adage: a watched gov't dept never boils. Plus any time they spend answering emails or phone calls *reporting* the status of my app could be better spent *advancing* the status of my app -- or yours! :)

Now what was that I was just saying? I got my email advising of a decision just 9 MINUTES after I posted this comment...and I've just confirmed by phone that it was successful! :D

I can hardly believe it as it's only been 7 days -- much quicker than I expected.

Now the real work begins: EC, travel, job etc...!

Did you have a job offer sent along with your application?

Thanks!

No, I didn't have a job offer. I was just painstakingly thorough in the way I put the application together to ensure the documentation was of high quality and every single little thing was spelled out so as to avoid the need for any follow-up.

I assume that was why it went through quickly so I guess the effort paid off. Either that or I was just lucky -- whatever! :)

i read it somewhr to send the copies along with the originals...and i dont find it wrong coz all the copies are properly notorized and attested by the govt. officers which will prove more authenticity...
