Post by golu » Tue Oct 06, 2009 10:07 am

hi All,

My wife is planning to apply for her visa around 15th october and the statements i have sent her are around 28th september, thats a 17 days gap.

will it do or do they require just a week old statement?

thanks

They require proof dated within the last calender month before the date of application, so 17 days gap should not be a problem.

thanks

If you are ok to spend some pounds then DTDC courier is the cheapest one for India. it will cost you £15 and will reach in 2-3 days depends on the city you want to send.
I have used it couple of times and I can recommend this. but different ppl will have different experience....

Royal Mail takes around one week. I have sent First Class Registered Mail, it costs around a fiver if the weight isn't much and has never failed me till date.
Please do not send me any Private Messages as I do not check these.
