question on citizenship appl. for those who applied recently

Folks,
if anyone of you have applied for citizenship recently, can you let me know if you get just one letter from DoJ at the time of application acknowledging the application, or do you get two letters.
My wife applied in aug-2009 and she has got only one.

some people indicated that DoJ usually they issue 2 letters acknowledging the application--one immediately and one a few weeks afterwards.

Hi Strongbow, a friend of mine just applied last month and she got only one letter after few weeks with the application reference number.
