12 months earning +/- 15 days is OK?

Post by kulksnikhil » Thu Oct 08, 2009 5:06 pm

Hi,

I have TWO queries:

ONE: I am planning to show my earnings from 16-aug-07 till 15-Aug-08. However, for the month Aug-07, I just have one salary slip. If I use Aug -07 salary slip, then the duration of my earnings would be 1-Aug-07 to 15-Aug-08 which is 12 months + 15 days AND if I don't use Aug-07 salary slip, then the duration would be from 1-Sep-07 till 15-Aug-08 (i.e. 12 months - 15 days). Is it OK to produce proof for 12 months + 15 days?

TWO: Proof of income tax returns filing: I am showing my earnings from Aug-07 to Aug-08. But the income tax returns is for 2 years from April 07-March-08 and April -08 till March -09. How do I show the mapping between my Salary slip and Income tax proof? Certainly the figure in Income tax returns document will be higher than the total of salary slip proofs attached.

thanks for these clarifications.

They consider 12 out of the last 15 months. Basically it will be in the format of 01/09/2008 to 31/08/2009

And 01/08/2008 to 15/08/2009 will not be considered as it is more than 12 months

Since you are in salaried employment, you have to show bank statements for the entire 12 month period. In addition, you to show one more proof - either payslips or tax document. But if the tax document does not tally with the exact 12 month period you are claiming for it will not be accepted.
