EU national non Eu Family member Visit.

My wife is a German national living and working in Ireland for the past 3yrs. She wants to invite her younger sister who is a non Eu to visit us for the christmas holidays..what documents we need to send to her..Do we have to send her an invitation letter,bank statements and all that stuffs?? Advice needed so contribution would be much appreciated..thanks
