Has Canada PR does it add any weight to my naturalisation

Post by csr » Mon Oct 12, 2009 11:29 am

I had Canada PR valid until 2012, I am living in Ireland and working since 2002.
But did not applied for naturalisation because not sure of settling here or Canada, now I decided to settle here,
my question is that does my Canada PR adds any weight to my naturalisation process?
I have 2 kids both are born here and both are holding Irish passports.

canada PR might go against your irish naturalisation application if you told them. This may indicate that you have no real committment to settle in Ireland.

Doubt that it would hold any weight however having 2 children with Irish passports would certainly be looked upon fovourably.
