ILR-Limited company and permanent employee

Post by hsac1301 » Wed Oct 14, 2009 9:26 am

Hi,

My appointment for an ILR is 30th Oct.

I was on work permit from dec 2004 to dec 2007(worked as full time permanent employee till may 2007 ,got my all the P60's)

HSMP (Mar 2007 to March 2009) worked for my own limited company from may 2007 to jan 2008 got payslips+dividend vouchers and self assessment receipts.
Company is still activate and filling VAT and self assessment returns but not withdrawing any Sal or dividend.

Tier1(March 2009 to March 2012) Working as a full time permanent employee from Feb 2008 till date i.e my current employer

My questions are
1) do i need to show i am running my own company although i am not trading through it.

2) I have all my P60 ,P45 all the work permits , HSMP and TIER1 Original letters .last 12 bank statements ,letter from current employer, last 12 payslips, absence letter from accountant regrading business trip.Life in the UK test certificate, photographs and passport .Property papers, address proof. Is it OK or Please advise if I require any other document.

3)In period 2007-2008, A i was employed by my own limited company,I have payslips, dividend vouchers, self assessment tax return receipts,P60,P45.Do i require a letter from accountant for 2007/2008 or 07/08,08/09,09/10 or two separate letters.Do i need to mention the company is active now ,I am really confused how to present my case as I am permanent employee from Feb 2008. Please advise.

Regards
Hsac

Only one letter to cover the whole period. Make sure your accuntant is qualified. (i.e. a qualified ACCA)

This should be ok. Ask your accountant to print it on his company's headed paper and stamp it aswell.
