The bank will issue a banker's cheque in favour of the British High Commission or British Deputy High Commission which will be valid for presentation with your application at a visa application centre for 6 months from the date of issue.just_in_time wrote:Dear All,
I am planning to file Tier 1 General from Pune. My questions:
1. Has any one paid using the Banker's cheque issued by Standard Chartered or Demand Draft issued by other banks(HDFC, ICICI etc) ?
2. What happens if the fee changes after i get the Demand Draft/Banker's cheque issued in advance(say a week in advance of application filing date)?
3. Is there any lock in period for fee change to avoid such problems?
Thanks for your response in advance.

My doubt is : What if fee changes after i get the DD from bank?
In that case i will have to check the fee on the SAME day of the application filing and if it is different than already issued DD, i have to go for new DD !
It is a big problem..
