Visitor visa effect on HSMP?

One of my friend told me that if one apply for visit visa while hsmp is under process there case would be refused for hsmp?

i doubt it...

any ideas?

There is no specific stated policy that rejects HSMP applications when applicants have visitor visas and I would term it as speculation or maybe drawing the wrong conclusions on a rejected application.

HSMP team won't even know you applied or are using a visitor visa.
