Work permit to Hsmp help

Hi ,
i am planning to appear for my hsmp .I am currently in work permit. unfortunatley my current employer or neither me have the letter that comes with the workpemit. do i need to send this when i appear for hsmp ? or my payslips and bank statement is enough?

They do ask for work permit no in the form but it also says (if known). I think they can find it out from the stamp on the passport anyway.

i personally think you dont have to worry about it. Payslips and bank statements are enough.

Others can confirm this

i am afraid you need to dig in and find out this WORKER REFERENCE No. from the WP Letter for the below question..

B11. Give details of any current or previous worker reference number(s) under work
permit arrangements (if applicable):

Is it required for TIER 1 GENERAL as well for example extention case. because i think when i got my hsmp letter it had some kind of work reference number i think

but i haven't given it on the extention form because i didnt know it

Its no required; just send those documents which they have asked for..... don't try to be unnecessarily smart..

It is not part of your application that you need to submitt the work permit letter however caseworker needs to establish your immigration status from your application. Burden of proof is upon you. Not on them however using few clicks they can also justify this from their database.

Submitt the photcopy if you have one.

if you do not even have a photocpy then try to get a copy of letter from UKBA. Alternatively you could request your SAB report, that may contain the copy of your work permit (however SAB process could take 1-3 months).

If you can not do any of the above and do not want to wait for whatever reason then it is better to apply without work permit letter. You will see the result soon.
