Nationality Question Urgent

Post by newuser11 » Wed Oct 21, 2009 2:28 pm

I applied for Nationality and got this letter from Home Office today.

"Please state in full of the addresses which you have lived at during the last 5 years. You must also include the month and year when you moved into each address and when you left. This should inclue any building, street or road name as well as post code."

I filled the following detail in application form which includes the complete address?

1) Lived in address 1 (09/09/04 - 15/01/05)
2) Lived in address 2 (15/01/05 - 15/06/05)
3) Lived in address 3 (27/05/05 - 27/08/06)
4) Lived in address 4 (21/08/06 - 17/02/07)
5) Lived in address 5 (13/02/07 - Till date)

Question:
------------------
1) Are end date is wrong on all the addresses?
Take example of address 2 I left the property on 27May and hand over the key to agent on 15th as contract was for 5 months.

I suggest that either you keep the dates as they are and supply a letter explaining the reasons why they overlap and supplying evidence if possibles e.g leases, references, council tax bills, etc.

You cannot have two homes address at the same time. You should specify the dates you physicall move from one peroperty to another, not when the dates supplied on the contract

So this means it should be like that

1) Lived in address 1 (09/04 - 01/05)
2) Lived in address 2 (01/05 - 05/05)
3) Lived in address 3 (05/05 - 08/06)
4) Lived in address 4 (08/06 - 02/07)
5) Lived in address 5 (02/07 - Till date) .

I think having already mentioned the other dates an explanation is still a good idea. so maybe write back with the revised dates but also with an explanation of the difference between the two

To be accurate, it should be more like:
1) Lived in address 1 (09/04 - 30/04)
2) Lived in address 2 (01/05 - 04/05)
etc.
